Games and learning
What do we mean by terms such as gamification and game-based learning? How can we apply game elements to education? We’ll look at some examples – plus the opportunities and challenges such approaches present.
3D immersive technology
A look at immersive visual environments, particularly virtual worlds, and how they are being used to aid learning. We’ll explore how the sensation of ‘being there’ can be best utilised by educators wanting to develop learning materials and activities.
Plus you’ll be able to experience immersive environments in virtual worlds and try out the Oculus Rift – as well as the Epson augmented reality glasses.
